Very important meeting. Although there was no quorum for the vote on the financing (I don’t know if we would ever have such a high quorum in the future), I hope that we reached at least the consent to carry out the work. If not, I understand the perplexity that many had with the little explanation that was given at the meeting. I agree that the owners, including myself, should take care of attending the regular meetings but I don’t know, not living at the location, how much was emphasized the agenda of any regular meeting that included a discussion of the project to renovate. Why not use the Blogette?

I suggest that discussion of this issue be in the agenda of the next regular meeting of the Board in July. Also the architect that prepared the bid on this project should be present. The Board should initially explain how they selected the architectural firm and on the base of which criteria they selected the winning proposal (time, lowest price, value) among the others presented to them by the architect. After that initial speech, the architectural firm should explain the details and be ready to answer questions.

Of course this should be heavily advertised and also both the highlights of the project and the agenda of the meeting should be posted in the blogette, which is very little used by both Management and residents. If owners don’t show, than it is more and more their problem and the Board would be right to act as they think it is the condominium owners interest.

I attended the meeting. Tim did a poor job in not providing any context to process. He would of followed protocol by having a Synergy rep at the assessment meeting. Tim said he had mentioned his two year plan at board meetings. I attended one with others, and they concur, it was never mentioned. Poor judgement in not having prior meetings centered on the future assessment. People like to feel involved. A human trait. Tim and Mike exascerbated an irate owner by saying, "shut-up," etc. it was handled unprofessionally. What if the owner have a weapon??...I always need time before I spend a chunk of change. Don't we all??..the board and cardinal management get a c- for insight and judgement. I hope they learned a few lessons from the ill-prepared Assessment Meeting.

The urgency is for us to find a person or an entity separate and distinct from the Don Mazzei Cardinal Management Group Corporation that we can trust will handle and control our money competently and honestly.

We are INVITING Don Mazzei to clean us out by not taking him up on his "invitation" of over 4 years ago TO FIRE HIM. I am urging condo owners to please look at the February mail that is posted on top of the blogette's home page, under No Contract, No Dues.

When association finances are properly cared for -- when a well-designed maintenance program and budget (containing provisions for upgrades and improvements in addition to routine repairs and unavoidable replacements) are in place -- the need for a "special assessment" EVER is usually moot.

This claim for a special assessment is just more proof that Mazzei is derelict and negligent and irresponsibly managing my money and the money of my neighbors. That man is a crook!

All board members, beginning with pres. Dan G., need to be voted out at the annual meeting in October for supporting the Don Mazzei Cardinal Management Group Corporation sick and crazy management style by ignoring its offer to bail out: Check the dates on those 2 documents I've scanned in above.

I am one owner who will be withholding monthly dues after July 1st.

I am cutting Don Mazzei off, after all, he wants out.
